Mrs. Alford attended Clearview Elementary School and graduated from Clearview High School. She enrolled at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1945.

Youth Tour, an all-expense paid leadership experience coordinated by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives and sponsored by People’s Electric Cooperative (PEC).
Read moreJordan Marie Blades was recently named to the Metro Lakes All Conference Basketball 2021 - 2022 team. Jordan is a junior at Glenpool High School where she is very active in sports. After basketball season, Jordan runs for the Glenpool track team. Her events include the 200-meter dash, 4x1, 4x2, and 4x4 relays. Jordan says she loves school, and her plans are to get a scholarship to play a sport in college. Jordan is the daughter of Marvin and Tanya Blades, and the sister to Jada Ann and Makai Lee. Jada is a 5 th grader at Glenpool and Makai is attending Pitt State on a track scholarship. Jordan’s proud grandparents are Donnie and Shirley Nero of Clearview.
