Off To War I don’t really know what started this calamity, but I blame my Uncle Tracey. You see, when we found ourselves at war (WWII), it was different from WW-I and Korea and Vietnam. You could say the same about all the other military actions too. WWII was the only one in which American soil was actually attacked. It was a war in which the aggressors (Hitler) and Japan’s Premier (Tojo) had plans to conquer and own the USA.

MAY IS GRADUATION MONTH

Clearview no longer has a high school. The last graduating class occurred in 1964 when the school closed in 1964 for grades nine through twelve. Grades one through eight continued until 1969. Afterwards, the remaining students attended the Weleetka Public Schools.

Clearview received a $200 OG&E grant and an Oklahoma Beauty grant for trash bags, gloves, and vests. The town will organize a clean-up day and seek volunteers to help.
