The Oklahoma African Amearican Educators Hall of Fame, Inc. is announcing its 2002 Eleventh Annual OAAE Hall of Fame, Inc. Inductees. The Hall of Fame is honors African American educators who have taught or served in some capacity in the educational system for at least five years in the state of Oklahoma.

The town of Clearview enjoyed a gathering of town’s people to play games of dominos and chicken foot at the Main Street Community Center. This may become a monthly gathering. Happy belated to Gale Lucas Parker and Terri Toles. They enjoyed an evening at Wanda’s Uptown Café on Main Street. The café is open for special occasions, just call Gale Parker. Wetumka Class of 1962 to hold 60th Class Reunion

The Wetumka Class of 1962 will be holding their 60 class reunion on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the fellowship hall at the Methodist Church in Wetumka. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and coffee and donuts will be served. The United Methodist Women will serve lunch.

1st Dollar Awards presented by Wetumka Chamber

The Wetumka Chamber of Commerce President, Donna Dyer, presented three local businesses with their First Dollar of Profit on Wednesday, June 22nd. She also invited the business owners to join the Chamber of Commerce and attend the monthly luncheon and meeting held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Methodist Church in Wetumka.
