Joyce Barrett of Clear view has begun a new chapter in her life. She has started gardening in her back yard. She har - vested her first crop of cumbers this last week. Her plans are to grow a larger garden and plant a fall garden of greens.

As many families gathered to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, prepared meals of hamburgers and hot dogs, and spent hundreds of dollars on fireworks to watch the skies light up in colors and sounds of pops and booms and enjoy the excitement of it all.
