100 Black Men of Tulsa

100 Black Men of Tulsa and twenty teenage boys will visit the towns of Clearview and Boley on March 19 . The men are mentors to young men in the Tulsa. This field trip to these two historically all-black towns is to bring history to life for these young men. They will receive a history of each time while enjoying a light breakfast in Clearview and lunch in Boley. Histori-cally, for nearly 60 years, 100 Black Men of America Inc. has improved the quality of life within black communities and enhanced the educational and economic opportunities for African Americans across the United States. Continuing this legacy, the Tulsa chapter has led locally through mentorship, education, health and well-ness, and economic empowerment since 1994.

TEN SOPHOMORE STUDENTS WERE INDUCTED INTO THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY AT MOSS HIGH SCHOOL RECENTLY.

The four basic requirements for membership are scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students are eligible to apply for NHS membership if they demonstrate academic achievement by achieving a 3.65 or higher-grade point average. The ten new members are listed below: Trenton Golden, Boe Jett, Gage Keesee, Caleb Laster, Caden Lee, Lane Morris, Kami Richmond, Whittany Spangler, Laci Story, and Willow Van Harren.
