Service to be held for Beloved Banker and Pastor, David Pope

David Edward Pope, 75, of Holdenville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, with his daughter, brother, and sister-in-law by his side. David courageously fought chronic diseases and illnesses in the last 5 years of his life and pressed on with fervor until his body no longer cooperated. THE ANNUAL GERTY DAY REUNION HAS BEEN SET FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 28TH.

This year’s event is being hosted by the Blue Devils’ Class of 1965 as they celebrated the 60th anniversary of their high school graduation. The community building will open at 9:00 am with a potluck lunch planned for 12:00 noon. The individual coming the farthest and the oldest person present will be recognized.
