Clearview Receives New Sign Markers

Thanks to a grant through the Pittsburg’s Community Foundation in Pittsburg, Kansas and the CDL Company of Pittsburg, the Town of Clearview received new sign markers designating historical and places of interest in Clearview along with community building, cemetery, and lake locations. Harvey and Sharon Dean, former teachers in Weleetka, have come to adopt the community and have contributed to the success of Clearview. Both instructed several students who resided in Clearview and have kept in close contact with them. Through their contributions to the Pittsburg Community Foundation, they asked for part of their funds be designated to the improvements of Clearview. CDL Company makes signs throughout the country, especially for railroads, and have spent their time and energy to visit in Clearview, design the sign, and to install the signs. Thanks again to Dr. Harvey and Sharon Dean and CDL Company for their interest and dedication to the Town of Clearview.
