Clearview News: Happy birthday Billy Walker on February 25 . Donnie and Shirley Nero, Marilyn Jackson, and Alpheus Grundy made an outing over to Muskogee for dinner and shopping at the Amish store. It was a pleasant, sunny day after being in a frozen state with no water for the pass week. Thanks for those in the water district for working diligently trying to provide water service to their customer. Hopefully, there were not many leaks, and everyone is back online for water. Betty Hanner writes that we all like to complain about the cold weather — while we are snuggled in woolen socks, fleece-lined boots, thermal underwear, down-filled coats and whatever else we need to brave the cold outdoors. Then we come into centrally heated homes, soak in hot tubs of water, crawl into beds warmed by electric blankets, wake up to automatically brewed hot coffee, and go to work in heated cars — and still we say we are cold.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Senate Public Safety Committee approved Senate Bill 631, also known as the Second Amendment Sanctuary Act, in a 9-2 vote on Monday. The measure, authored by Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, would make Oklahoma a Second Amendment sanctuary state.
