Anneca pitched her first career no hitter in 5 innings after 8-0 win over UTSA. It was her first college no hitter for the season with 5 IP, 2 BB, and 6 K. A week earlier in a game against OU, Anneca struck out the #1 hitter in the league. Anneca is a Tulsa University freshman and a high school graduate of Shawnee High School. Blades was named for the second time "Teacher of the Year" at Glenpool Middle School. Blades teaches health and P.E. and is a high school and middle school track coach. In addition to all her activities, she has a school bus route delivering students to and from school safely. She is involved in many community activities, teaches Bible classes at her church, and attends all her children's afterschool activities.
