On the morning of Sunday, June 21, 2020, all the family of Ernest and Mildred Moore gathered in their home to celebrate Ernest and Mildred’s 70 wedding anniversary. The morning was spent taking pictures and catching up on the happenings of each other. Everyone of the 3 children, seven grand children, 10 great-grand children, and one great-great-grand daughter was present. Such a wonderful blessing!

The pilot was transported by Hughes County EMS paramedics to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. OHP, FAA, and NTSB are conducting the investigation. Please keep the family and friends of the deceased pilot in your prayers. We will release more information as it becomes available following the conclusion of the investigation.

The 4th of July a large crowd gathered in the same location to have a similar picture taken. It was a lot of fun!
Read moreA single vehicle accident Sunday evening resulted in one passenger, Hunter Morrison, 19, Holdenville, being transported to the OU Medical center by Medical Flight with multiple injuries, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Morrison was listed in stable condition in the report. The driver, a 17-year-old juvenile, (name withheld) was transported by Hughes County EMS to Holdenville Hospital, where he was treated and released with trunk external and arm injuries. Another passenger, 15-yearold, (Name withheld), was transported by a personally owned vehicle to Holdenville General Hospital, where he was treated and released with external injuries.
