Frank and Jean Marie Simmons of Texas visited with Jean’s mother Marguerite for one week. The last day of the Simmons’ visit, Marguerite’s grandchildren came for a visit including Mario and wife, son of Jean and Frank from Memphis, TN. “Mac” had a joyful day. Please remember Marjorie Plunkett in prayer as she begins a new series of treatment for her cancer as well as Kevin Sinnett as he continues his cancer treatments. Remember those who remain on our sick list Alpheus Grundy, Marguerite French, Kurrilue Johnson, Billy Walker, Cornell Lucas, Otis Davis, Jean Chatman, and L. C. Carson. Continue your thoughts and prayers for those affected by COVID-19 and for the service men and women serving in all capacities helping others.

Charles and Marlene (Brick) Gann were married on November 23, 1960. Charles was working on a pipeline job in Tipton, Iowa, and met Marlene who was working at a local hardware store. Marlene was 17 years old, and Charles was 21.
