The annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast is fast approaching. This year the benefit will be held on March 12 in the Wetumka School Cafeteria. The breakfast will consist of (All-You-Can-Eat) pancakes and sausage! The event starts at 7:00 am and goes through 12:00 pm. Each plate costs $6.00. Children up to 5-years-old eat for free.

Emmanuel wanted to visit the state which represents a “cultural melting pot.” While in the State of Oklahoma, he visited in the towns of Tullahassee, Taft, and Clearview. In Tullahassee, he visited with Mayor Kesha Gaines, in Taft he visited with Mayor Vernon Curl and Former Mayor and current Councilwoman Lelia Foley Davis, and in Clearview, he visited with Mayor Marilyn Jackson and Trustee Donnie Nero, and Shirley Nero.

Read moreBoth the Stuart Lady Hornets & Hornets basketball teams defeated Coalgate on Friday night, January 28th. Prior to the games a homecoming coronation was held. Connor Clayton was named Homecoming King and he crowned Braelyn Blasengame Homecoming Queen. Other members of the homecoming court were Travis Grinnell, Addison Dalton, Taloa Ott, and Noah Rosenow. Flower girl was Kimber Carlton and Crownbearer was Logan Brown.
