Our sympathy is extended to the family of Jessica Megan McDowell

Jessica Megan McDowell of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the age of 38, surrounded by her loving friends and family.

Jessica is the daughter of Gabe George Sr & Jacqueline "Jackie" George, born on March 20, 1987 in Dallas, Texas. She Graduated Townview School of Health in 2005 and went on to work at Baylor Hospital for 22 years. In December of 2024, Jessica graduated beauty school in as an aesthetician. Jessica enjoyed being on TikTok. We could never get her to put her phone down when it came to that. She also enjoyed watching 600-pound life and watching ghost adventures, being with her daughters, making jokes with her husband and their two daughters, fighting with her husband, and watching the neighbors like her dad. She is preceded in death by her father, Gabe George. She is survived by her husband, Dwight McDowell; daughters Mya George and Emma McDowell; her mother, Jacqueline George; sisters Mary Cavitt (Kris) and Stephanie Powell (Jason); brothers Larry Whitaker (Yuridia), Christopher George (Emily), Matthew George, Danny George (Brandy), and Gabe George Jr; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral service will be Monday, August 25, 2025, 1:30pm at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Jessica will be laid to rest at George Family Cemetery east of Holdenville. Rev. Paul Fixico is the officiating minister. Pallbearers are Larry Whitaker, Christopher George, Kris Cavitt, Danny George, Joseph Travis, and Joe Alaniz.

Wake service will be held at Fisher Funeral Home on Sunday, August 24, at 6:30pm.
