Floyd C. Bush III, aectionately known to family as "Poo/Poo Poo," and "FC" to friends, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 53. Born on June 28, 1971, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Floyd brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.

Floyd attended the historic John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During his lifetime Poo was a hardworking man and was employed with the State of Oklahoma Oce Management and Enterprise Services at the time of his death.

Floyd was known for his infectious smile and silver tooth and was truly the life of every gathering. He never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping handoften arriving with laughter and love in equal measure. He enjoyed going to Clearview with his cousin Little Paul, that he considered his second home and spent as much time as he could in the country with the cousins (Zackery) and friends.

Floyd married his wife Brenda Polk, on June 28, 2016, in Oklahoma City. Poo and Brenda enjoyed life together and were a perfect couple for each other. He truly loved and admired her.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda, his parents, Floyd Jr., and Sheryl Jones (Eric); and his two sisters, Stephanie and Stacye.

His legacy continues through his stepsons: Dominique and Stanley Jr; stepdaughters: Yolanda and Breonna; grandchildren: Dyani, Siera III (Jessee), Qu’Landa, La’Siera, Journei, Eyvan, Nehemiah, Jordan, Stanley III, Cassius, and De’Jon; and great-grandchildren Sakani, Siera, Shai, A’Myah, Za’Karionn, and Sa’Laiya.

Floyd also leaves behind his cherished niece Ashley; nephews Austin, Justin, and Andrew; great-nephew Aidon; great-niece Estellia; devoted aunt Jacque Walker (Carl); longtime friend and brother-in-law Rodrick; along with a host of special cousins, extended family members, and friends too numerous to name – all of whom were touched by his kindness and unforgettable presence.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Floyd Sr. and Linnie (Zackery) Bush; maternal grandparents: Theophilus "Jack" and Vernita (Bowser) Thomas; uncle, Ralph Bush; and aunt, Gloria (Beach) Hubbard. We give thanks for the time God gifted us with our gentle giant. May the memory of Floyd C. Bush III bring comfort to all who loved him.
